När är sommarlovet?

Sommarlovet är det längsta skollovet följt av jullovet och infaller alltid under sommaren – därav sitt namn. Under det nästan 3 månader långa lovet är både elever och lärare lediga från skolan. Lärarna arbetar i regel dock längre och börjar sin ledighet senare samt börjar arbeta igen tidigare för att planera inför höststarten.

På ett sommarlov finns det många aktiviteter i de flesta städer. En del väljer att stanna hemma och sysselsätta sig, för det mesta utomhus, med exempelvis en sport som fotboll eller innebandy. Andra väljer att åka utomlands med familj eller vänner under en tid av lovet.
